About This Project

“Rise Up” is crafted of over 8,000 individually folded pieces of paper that are nestled together to form the garment shape. This design celebrates both the strength, flexibility, and versatility of both paper and people. It was created for Project Funway 2025, the largest fundraiser for the Education Foundation of Eagle County which aims to raise money to provide essential support for teacher and school staff retention.

“Rise Up” received 1st place recognition in the Adult Category at Project Funway 2025.
