About This Project

Participating for the second year, Blue Linen Creative with Jennifer Garber and Christopher Geissinger, designed and created “Dreaming in Red”. This dress is inspired by the idea of capturing motion and energy. Similar to how low-light photography catches paths of light through space, each fan is stopped in its path. Its energy captured–embracing red, the color of energy and strength. Its sweeping strength stopped.

Designed and engineered so that the fan’s folds lay flat on each repeating fold, this dress catches motion and makes it something we can feel.
